Worse than a fanny pack, perchance?
On the Fritz
I have a fascination with prepositional phrases as well as words containing the letter "z". So that's why my page is called "On the Fritz". And a plus - it's just plain fun to say!
Enjoy scrolling through my links, photos, and jottings.

I snapped a shot of this insect, which was perched on my bedroom wall. I’m not gonna lie, it really wigged me out!
To AmJo, with love.
7-Eleven
An interesting tid-bit, which I type as I sit here with my 7-Eleven mochaccino at 11 pm. The following is from my ever-so-entrancing “2008 Word Origin Daily Calendar”, which all you dorks should definitely get for the ensuing year.
“7-Eleven: in 1927, an employee at the Southland Ice Company in Dallas, Texas, began to sell bread, milk, and eggs on Sundays and at night when regular grocery stores were closed. He named the impromptu store ‘Tote’m.’ Southland went on to establish other stores in Texas, open from 7 am to 11 pm, and renamed those stores to reflect those expanded hours in 1946. The name remains, even though most 7-Eleven stores are now open around the clock.”
"No Swimming Allowed" is a must read!
Now I only want to visit the Oregon coastline … a little bit more than before. Dangerous, you don’t say!
You say you have no space for a piano? Think again.
P.S. Job well done, Ben!
