I have a fascination with prepositional phrases as well as words containing the letter "z". So that's why my page is called "On the Fritz". And a plus - it's just plain fun to say!

In some places, flirting is illegal.
In Little Rock, AR, an antiquated law is still on the books warning that engaging in playful banter may result in a 30-day jail term. In New York City, another outdated law mandates that men may be fined $25 for gazing lasciviously at a female; a second conviction stipulates the offender wear a pair of blinders whenever he goes out for a walk.

I’m going Christmas tree shopping this weekend, and perhaps I should brace myself for what’s out there. Darn commercialism. All I *really* want is some mistletoe and a sprig of holly for the front door, but I don’t even know where I can find a morsel of that, thesedays. :-/
