I received these (and other) photos via a chain e-mail. Unfortunately there was no credit to the artist, only this simple explanation of his work:
“It’ll take him four hours to do a hand. Then he photographs it for posterity. I cannot imagine how he does the eyes so remarkably lifelike.”

I guess I’ve been enraged and impatient in extra doses lately. And, I should add that, those two things are a horrible pair. Today this struck me at the most unexpected time. I wrote up a Craigslist posting a few weeks ago for a free item. Within one day, I had two interested parties inquiring about it. The only reason that the item is still listed at all is because there was an issue with pickup during a snowstorm and so a new pickup time needed to be established.
Today a man named Thomas who hides behind the email display name hjkgkljhg j,hgkjgh sent me an email which read, “are you joking throw that dam thing away”. I responded to his email in kind with, “Learn how to spell, fool!”
Maybe that’s nothing big to anyone except myself. I never used to respond in kind to comments like that. I would let things like this roll right off my shoulders. But now I find myself not biting my tongue when I ought. I find myself spewing off to perfect stranger Thomas Hjkgkljhg j,hgkjgh. What’s happening to me? Gah, I need a new hermet shell and a roomie named Boo Radley. I have turned into an old crank pot.
In black or ivory, please. Red will always be a favorite, but I presently have a lovely red cable-knit scarf. :-)
